Default Just downloaded Nightfall (very quick question)

Hi, all this is my first post here. I downloaded Nightfall a day ago from the GW site and obviously i don't have a key. I'm not asking for one here either so pls read on Anyways since i cant actually run the game, is there any way to be certain that it will run properly before i actually go and get an access key??

My pc specs are: 1.4 GHZ athlon
384 pc133 ram
Raedon 9550 (overclocked to 400mhz, 250mhz)
Win xp pro sp1
(yep a relic)

In the menu i get bout 30 fps.

Think its worth getting an access key?

Is there a place where i can get a trial key just to see if the game runs?

It should run on that system.

There's a sticky thread for trial keys, post there and ask.

My old PC ran it pretty well on low graphics and that was worse than what youve got

I asked for a trial key in the thread, hope i get one

whats bothering me is the 30fps in the menu, i mean if i can only get 30 in a menu with no additional players running around and loads of buildings ect, i doubt ill get more in the actual game

I would suggest getting more ram would help as well, 384 is to low. Windows and the system files would use nearly half of that. At least 512 mb or even 1GB of ram will make the game run better.

Lowest graphics possible and it should be doable. Don't try playing an interrupter or infuser or something like that though.
I don't know what your situation is like budget-wise, but some extra ram and a new processor (even a rly cheap one) would make a whole lot of difference
